Virtual reality, it is now known, is one of the leading IT universe trending topic, and MSI does not want to lose him. In fact, he tries to anticipate the times announcing new partnerships with Intel and HTC, the company that produces one of the main VR viewers, namely HTC Vive.
With the new agreements, MSI will be the first manufacturer to put on the certified gaming notebook market for HTC Lives devices and the Intel VR technologies. The latter certification is achieved by installing the system processor and Intel graphics chips that meet the hardware requirements for the virtual reality experience. This Intel ensures that the user has available the necessary hardware to manage its VR technologies such RealSense, Tobii and IonVR. The certification "VR-ready" Intel was announced at GDC last year in San Francisco.
The notebook there, however, this applies for all game systems, first of all desktops.
The MSI's commitment to the virtual reality does not stop there, seen that, starting from the first part of 2015, the Taiwanese manufacturer launched the MSI Lab, a program that will bring the MSI engineers to work closely with producers content in order to create software and VR experiences conform to the characteristics of their notebooks.
MSI thus joins Intel, Oculus, NVIDIA and other manufacturers who have already started plans specifically devoted to VR certification.
