Apple Music, the music streaming service that is good for ... Spotify

Spotify has seen a significant boost of its turnover since the launch of Apple Music took place last June 2015: it is the same vice president of the company to give notice, explaining how a year now there is a greater attention of the public towards the music streaming services.

"From the Apple Music debut we have grown faster and have attracted more users than before" explained Jonathan Forster in an interview with Reuters. Spotify can now count about 100 million registered users, 30 million of whom are subscribers for a fee. Apple Music has about 13 million paying users, and offers no free formula outside of the three-month trial and Beats Radio 1. The service is available in more than 100 countries, while Spotify is only present in 60 national markets.

"It would be terrible if we were robbing users to each other or if we discovered that there was a ceiling of 100 million users, but do not think that's the case," stressed Forster, suggesting that streaming music content is an activity probably difficult that, precisely for this reason, limits the number of participants.

Spotify has also recently announced plans to introduce a program of original video content in addition to third-party video already available for mobile users. Until now, the Apple Music in the video territory activities were much more limited, but the service should get a raise at the next WorldWide Developers Conference in June, starting with a review of the interface graphic and probably with the 'introduction or expansion of some features and new content.
