AMD certifies 5 FX processors for use with VR systems

With the approach of the debut of the first vision for virtual reality no shortage ads related to the various components that will be used by the latter to ensure the best user experience possible use. And 'the case of AMD, engaged in the world of VR with its own GPU Radeon family but obviously interested in promoting their own CPU in systems intended for this use.

The American company has at present certified as compatible with viewers VR 5 own processors FX family:

FX-9590: 8-core architecture, the default clock frequency of 4,7GHz
FX-9370: 8-core architecture, the default clock frequency of 4,4GHz
FX-8370: 8-core architecture, the default clock frequency of 4GHz
FX-8350: 8-core architecture, the default clock frequency of 4GHz
FX-6350: 6-core architecture, of the default clock frequency of 3,9GHz

We mark this as Oculus has indicated the minimum technical standards for matching your Rift viewer systems; to the CPU the American company indicates an Intel Core i5-4690 model but the use of other processor with lower technical specifications on the card does not prevent the use of the display in any way. Oculus does not indicate how none of the recommended CPU AMD FX family and it is for this reason that the American company has chosen to provide its own compatibility list.

To remember, in any case, as regardless of the CPU in the own system the hardware component critical to the quality of reproduction with the VR viewers remains the video card, called upon to manage a large number of pixels with a refresh rate that must optimistically be at least 90 Hz so as to limit the possible phenomena of motion sickness in the user.
