Windows 10: 270 million active users and major free update in summer

The first news conference regarding Build 2016 Windows 10: Terry Myerson, executive vice president, Windows and Devices Group, provided, first, a new update on the number of active users of Windows 10, which has reached and exceeded the threshold of 270 million in 8 months after the launch of the first stable version of the operating system.

Important numbers also as regards the number of hours spent by users using Windows 10, 75 billion, and with regard to the growth of the ecosystem with more than 500 devices made specifically for Windows 10. The update will also be available for the Xbox One, offering the ability to use the universal app Windows 10, as previously anticipated.
