Samsung, incoming new camera f / 1.4 with a large sensor for smartphones

The top range of Samsung latest integrate cameras from different manufacturers: besides the owner ISOCELL sensor, the Koreans are supplied by Sony with models that usually are not too different in the mere quality calculation. At Mobile World Congress 2016 they were presented the new Galaxy Galaxy S7 and S7 edge technology with Dual Pixel phase detection for auto-focus, but since then the technicians of the company from Asia, we are certainly not cradled on his laurels.

Despite the unquestionable ability of the sensor, Samsung has put to work immediately to complete the development of a new camera module for smartphones. There is nothing official yet, but PhotoRumors stated that he came to know some information about the camera that we'll probably find the next top-of-range of the company: the CMOS sensor is 1 / 1.7 ", thus considerably larger than current from 1 / 2.3 ", while the target will have an aperture f / 1.4 aperture

If the characteristics are confirmed it would be a huge step forward, at least technically, cluttered than the current form of the Galaxy S7. The new sensor also provides for an increase in the resolution of the final shot, which would rise from the current 12 megapixels at a resolution between 18 and 24 megapixels. The Koreans will once again confirm more and more interested in pushing forward the bar of photography on smartphones, where the field now excels for many generations.

The strategy could, however, be much more profound. Recently the company has revealed that, at least in some markets, will not release new NX series cameras because of the steady decline in consumer demand. It is likely that the company wants to push them to move the photo as a smartphone, a sector that, despite a slight overall decline in terms of revenues, it is still particularly healthy for the Korean company.
