Apple thinks the production of original television content such as Netflix and Amazon

Apple is preparing to compete with Netflix and Amazon in terms of original television content? It seems so, at least according to Fast Company suggests: the Apple is seeking agreements with authors "triple A" for the creation of a series of performances of the same caliber of House of Cards, Jessica Jones or Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. According to reports, Apple's goal would be to simultaneously realize more content, as part of an important launch of the service.

On the occasion of last year's Sundance Film Festival, Apple has created an iTunes Lounge where he hosted a series of private events, accessible by invitation only, for producers, records and other figures and show business personalities. Robert Kondrk, vice president of iTunes Content, would also often attended the Los Angeles area to gather ideas and listen to proposals for shows and original television content.

Apple feeds quite a positive reputation among creative and artists, and should have the ability (and the cash reserves) to attract the talents necessary for the production of high-quality performances. By contrast it seems that many content creators are enthusiastic to the idea of being able to work with Apple. According to rumors, however, Apple will still not have a clear idea about his plans for television content and has not shown a consistent strategy in this regard.

The fact Apple would be following an approach in two ways: on the one hand the production of short films, documentaries and music videos to promote Apple's music, and on the other the development of a comprehensive program along the lines of the Netflix catalog. The Cupertino company is already working, in addition, to a pair of projects: the first, not yet officially announced, is a project related to Apple Music and a vaguely autobiographical treatment of the co-founder of Beats Dr Dre. The second, announced in March, is a TV show that will shed light on the app economy.

Along with the announcement of the TV show, the person in charge of iTunes Eddy Cue warned that the show is not necessarily a sign that the apple you are deeply engaging in the production and streaming of video content. The Cue positions still seem an attempt to resize the expectations, given that Apple is facing the situation with caution.
