Arduino clone is the size of a AA battery

Computer scientists who delight in a small logic board that caters to hobbyists do-it-yourselfer can not not know Arduino, and inventors and can be used in the most varied uses. The idea was born by Italy Arduino Smart Projects, however, they were quickly disseminated several clones thanks to the open source license under which the project was launched. Among these we find the new AAduino, clone that contains the logic board in the size of an AA battery.

Arduino was built in very small projects, however, the new project of Johan Kanflo goes further towards more extreme shores. Based on Tiny328 project Kanflo has managed to achieve the smallest Arduino board that we remember today, able to occupy the same area of an AA battery. Through a specific cabling system is able to insert the card into a container along with two AA batteries that can power it.

To increase as much as possible the autonomy Kanflo has been forced to run a lightweight downclock embedded processor on the logic board, but the functionality of the Arduino are substantially unchanged. Embracing the spirit of open-source Arduino, the designer has released diagrams and instructions on its website and on Github, so that the small system can be created on their own based on their own knowledge when it comes to electronics.

AAduino can be used in projects that require small size to a minimum, and at the same time must be battery-powered. Kanflo it is based on some of his personal needs to achieve, namely the construction of a radio node, where the smallest logic boards based on Arduino not able to respond to these needs.
