On the occasion of the Milan Design Week, an event that characterizes these days the city of Lombardy with various ads related to the world of design and furniture, Asus showed some interesting news of its product line expected to debut in the coming months.
Particularly interesting is the new screen ROG Swift PG348Q, a model that combines a full 34 inches diagonally with a curved shape. The panel uses IPS technology and has a resolution of 3.440x1.440 pixels, which corresponds to a format of 21: 9 between the two sides and that can create a greater involvement in the game experience thanks to the combination with the surface curve.
The screen is compatible with NVIDIA G-Sync technology, thanks to which reduce stuttering phenomena that may occur when the frames per second generated by the system are not particularly high. The maximum refresh rate is equal to 100 Hz, while the very thin side edge allows to combine two or more screens easily allowing a higher involvement in the game action.
Turbo Key functionality gives the user the ability to configure the update frequency of the screen in real time, without having to access the Video Card Driver Control Panel. This way you can switch between a frequency of 60 Hz refresh rate to that of 100 Hz during the gaming session, so overclock the refresh rate resulting in a smoother playback on condition that the video card is capable of generating frames to the second at least equal to the frequency of refresh set.
