Agon: AOC presents the new line of monitors dedicated gamers

AOC is progressively expanding its commitment to the gaming industry. It has become a sponsor of the 9th among the world's most famous esport team and participates in major videogame events of the year, as the GamesCom in Cologne. For sugellare this commitment aimed at gamers now announces a new line, called Agon, 10 monitors equipped with the features that players appreciate most.


Agon is a word that derives from the ancient greek the meaning of which indicates race, confrontation, antagonism. Agon The series includes both standard and curved models equipped with the Flicker FREE developed by AOC technology. All are enriched with both the technology NVIDIA G-Sync or AMD FreeSync.

A response time of 1 ms (TN), higher refresh rate, height adjustment, speaker and USB 3.0 ports are all standard features of this new line of displays. With sizes ranging from 24 "16: 9 to 35" ultra-wide, the new series it will also be equipped with Agon curved monitors and resolutions from Full HD up to 4K. The combination of the back of the monitor display AGON materials will provide an elegant finish and fashionable.

In the rear part we find the LED backlight, customizable by the player both as regards the effects that the colors, exactly as it happens with a mechanical keyboard. The aggressive design is thought to be married with the scenario of the great esport tournaments, where players can show off the most eye-catching devices.

On the body of the monitor is also a small retractable support, which players can use to store the headphones once the game session.

The Agon monitors are also equipped with the AOC Game Mode technology and methods No Input Lag Mode and No Shadow Control. The models that will arrive on the market during the 2016 turns the FHD resolution, qHD display and 4K with TN and IPS + 144 Hz.

AOC has introduced its new Agon series with a launch event in Beijing, which involved teams involved and the Natus Winning the Dota2. Event replicated in Milan, where a tournament in Grid 2 with some of the previous series of AOC monitors was organized. The first product of Agon Online is already available on the Chinese market, and will arrive in Europe during June 2016.
