Mac OS X 10.11.4: problems of iMessage and FaceTime after upgrade

During the week Apple has released to the public the stable version of Mac OS X 10.11.4 El Capitan, but for some users the upgrade process has brought to light some problems. Not a few loyal to the brand of apple that report in the official forum the inability to make access to iMessage and FaceTime services. The unexpected behavior of the software has been tested by all after upgrading to the latest version of El Capitan.

According to the many comments that are read on the official, many forum users are greeted by an error message in authentication when you try to access one of the two services. Others instead indicate that the authentication procedure gives signals to be gone through but in reality is never completed without presenting any warning. This problem seems to occur mainly for those who have installed the update on a clean machine.

The various users have tried to get around this with various measures: install the operating system from scratch, disable the firewall or enable the authentication system to two steps, but neither of these procedures, however, seems to bring the desired results. A Canadian member contacted at first the service of Apple service, it was informed that the company was aware of the problem and already working on a possible solution.

The situation could not be resolved even by performing a downgrade to a newer version of the operating system. It appears that the bug was not resident in the latter code, but in the company's official servers. And in fact Apple, after reporting the problem on the Status page of the services, has reported in recent hours as solved. It seems that the problem has returned with an update performed server side.
