This is an initiative that is actually already been operating in the shadows in the last year and aims to offer developers a number of simple ways to incorporate GoPro devices in their products and software.

The program focuses its three elements:

-facilities: Offer developers the ability to create devices that physically connect to an action cam GoPro through HERObus or via Bluetooth or WiFi, and also access to features such as the camera control and video management.

-Supporti / Enclosures: give way for developers to create reliable solutions to constrain action GoPro cam to other objects.

GoPro Developer Program is a way to celebrate the innovative work of our developer community and, with greater importance, enable what will be then. we are grateful to benefit from the collective genius of the participating developers and we are thrilled to officially support their efforts with our developer toolkit "commented Nick Woodman, founder and CEO of GoPro.

The company has already listed more than 100 actually participating in the program, including FisherPrice, who made a case for action cam suitable for children, and that BMW has built an app that tracks the car telemetry data and synchronizes information with the video feed of the camera so that driving enthusiasts can see what's happening under the hood when you squeeze their car.
