Xiaomi presents I Max: phablet with the new MIUI 8, larger battery and reduced thickness

Xiaomi has officially raised the curtain on the new I Max, the new phablet Android that combines a large display from 6:44 "and a large 4800 mAh battery without impacting negatively on the metal shell thickness which is equal to 7.5 mm. A phablet that in light of the diagonal of the screen, touching the tablet category of small and presents the public with a hardware equipment of medium-high.

The display resolution is FullHD type, feature not at top of the market, but also able to return a value of 342 ppi, while the SoC chosen varies according to versions: Snapdragon 650 or 652 depending on the model. Varying also the amount of RAM and storage ranging from basic configuration with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage to the top with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. In all cases, the storage is expandable using the "hybrid" slot to accommodate a dual SIM card or a SIM card and a microSD memory card.

Xiaomi Xiaomi Mi confirms that Max will be available in Silver, Gold and Dark Grey colors with prices starting at 1,449 yuan, which is about 200 euro. The terminal will be released in several configurations that differ by type of CPU and RAM memory, specifically:
3GB RAM + 32GB of storage with SoC Snapdragon 650 to 1,499 yuan (about 200 euro)
3GB RAM + 64GB of storage with SoC Snapdragon 652 to 1,699 yuan (about 230 euro)
4GB RAM + 128GB of storage with SoC Snapdragon 652 to 1,999 yuan (about 270 euro)
Prices, as assumed, competitive - to evaluate as always, the impact of taxes and import costs in the European market - a product that comes to market with new custom user interface version of Xiaomi The MIUI 8.
