The creator of Dark Souls and Bloodborne working on a new IP

Hidetaka Miyazaki reiterated in these last hours of wanting to put definitively behind Dark Souls. After working directly on the first and the third installment of From Software designer he admitted he was already engaged on a new intellectual property which, according to initial statements, should differ sharply from birthed projects since 2009, ie since the launch of Demon's Souls.

"Dark Souls will have 3 different DLC as in previous chapters. But at the moment there is no plan to create sequels, spin-off or tie-in, "said Miyazaki during an interview with the Taiwanese site GNN Gamer and translated on NeoGAF forum. While not excluding the possibility that they are 100% more episodes produced in the coming years, the From Software projects are oriented in other directions.

"If one of From Software developer came to me in five years and I implore to let him create another Dark Souls do not exclude that I could leave my subordinates the opportunity to start a new project", event that however is not so unlikely, Whereas something similar had already happened to the Dark Souls 2 times, even as Miyazaki was absorbed by the development of Bloodborne. At the same time, however, it was ruled out any possibility of seeing him take personal guidance of the series.

"Rather than make another sequel I think it's time to move in a new direction. The development of a new IP has already begun ", and apparently it will not be a further Soulslike as to Bloodborne times. "We want to try out new things," he concluded.
