NVIDIA shows how DooM laps to 200 frames per second of Vulkan

During the Austin event where NVIDIA announced the GeForce 1080 GTX and 1070, id Software showed a gameplay movie in which Doom ran at 200 frames per second using the capabilities of Vulkan API. Now, the NVIDIA YouTube channel you can see a part of that movie.

Default Doom will run on PC to 1080p / 60FPS but, with V-Sync option disabled, will push the 120 FPS up to 200 FPS, in the presence of course of the latest hardware like the one behind the new GeForce 1080 GTX. GeForce.com on site explains how this is possible thanks to the fact that Vulkan eliminates most of the overhead product from the DirectX 11.

Recall that Doom will be released next May 13 and well on PC also comes in the PS4 and Xbox One formats.
