EVE Valkyrie: support cross-platform play between PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift and HTC Lives

The executive producer of the game, Owen O'Brien, announced the new feature at the event organized annually by CCP Games, the EVE Fanfest. All PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift and HTC Vive will, in fact, compete with each other within the multiplayer match EVE Valkyrie.

During the event it was announced a new game mode, for what, remember, is set up as a spin-off of the space simulator EVE Online dedicated to close combat and virtual reality, and redone with Unreal Engine 4. The mode Carrier assault involves an assault on a major space transportation: first you need to take down its shields and then knock out the turrets to penetrate and destroy the nerve center of the system.

EVE: Valkyrie has long been an exclusive Oculus Rift, and debut title of the latter in the form of the game to Early Access on Steam. Later versions for Sony's vision and HTC have been announced.
