Crash Bandicoot is one of the most brilliant and difficult platformer of all time. After debuting in 1996 on the original PlayStation, players have cheered up to make it one of the most popular titles. originally developed by Naughty Dog, in the following years passed between different software companies, such as Eurocom (2000-2001), Traveller's Tales (2001-2004), Vicarious Visions (2002-2004), Dimps (2006), Renegade Kid (2009) , Radical Entertainment (2005-2010), High Impact Games (2010), Polarbit (2008-2010).
In recent days, at the community of players, has gained ground in the hope of a return of Crash Bandicoot format Triple A. The development was entrusted to Naughty Dog, the group that gave birth to the series in the 90s and which it is fresh from the success of Uncharted 4 End of a thief, just released on PS4. But Sony has been dampened the ardor by the mouth of Adam Boyes, VP of the division in charge of relations with developers and manufacturers.
Boyes has in fact pointed out that since 2008 the series belongs to Activision, so Sony can not produce a new chapter by means of its subsidiary Naughty Dog. Crash Bandicoot is of Sony Computer Entertainment properties until 2000, and then passed into the hands of Universal Interactive Studios, Konami, Vivendi, Sierra Entertainment and Activision finally. It was rumored about a possible repurchase of part of Sony IP, but the latest Boyes statements appear to deter this hypothesis.
