Almost playing at home, the Spanish brand BQ took advantage of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona to present a pair of novelty. The first actually had already been revealed before the show and it is the Aquaris M10 tablet version of Ubuntu, the first tablet to take on board this version of the Linux operating system. Aquaris M10 Ubuntu Edition can be used in two modes: connected to a mouse and a keyboard and "Desktop" mode or in "Tablet", maintaining the classical touch functionality.
On the front smartphone comes the new BQ Aquaris X5 Plus, renewing the technical specifications of the smartphone with a metal frame, which produces BQ in three versions: Android, Ubuntu and Cyanogen OS. The new Aquaris X5 Plus is updated technically from the display, which now earns a Full HD panel, always with 5-inch diagonal. At the base of the terminal there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 Octa Core up to 1.8 GHz platform with dual-channel architecture PoP with Adreno GPU 510. As for the autonomy smartphone can count on a LiPo battery 3100mAh. Among the most important innovations we find the fingerprint reader that can be used to unlock the terminal and for transactions such as payments. The new Aquaris X5 Plus also offers connectivity 4G + and 5 GHz Wi-Fi (802.11ac), but also NFC, GPS and GLONASS.
As for the rear camera integrates a Sony IMX298 from 16 MP sensor with points autofocus phase detection (PDAF) for a tune faster and precise focusing. The module allows you to record 4K video, and includes dual tone flash. The front camera has 8 MP instead of a Sony IMX219 sensor. The new Aquaris X5 Plus will be available in three colors (Black / Anthracite gray, White / Silver and White / Rose gold).
