A system for virtual reality can have always at hand, and that allows to overcome the problems linked to the cables that connect the VR viewer to the PC required for its control. And 'what this proposes Zotac with your Mobile VR system, an original approach as in some weird ways to VR with no wires are put between the user's feet.
All the electronics needed to use their own VR viewer is not mounted in a chassis resting on a desk, but placed inside a backpack. The user of VR viewer will have no choice but to take the backpack and wearing visor and headphones in order to immerse themselves in the virtual world without having to deal with long but bulky cables that can finish in the feet.
Zotac has not at the present time indicated what the PC that is connected to VR viewer inserted inside the backpack: it is possible that it feels its own mini-PC with its own internal video card that reflects the minimum system requirements Oculus Rift and HTC Vive.
To properly operate this system obviously requires a pack of batteries, integrated inside the backpack but for which is not declared specific autonomy. It 'also interesting to know the weight of the backpack, which between PC and batteries will not be properly light.
A solution of this kind seems to be honestly least unique in the world of VR solutions, while certainly helping solve the problem of the cable footprint and the risk that may hinder the user's movements. On the other hand, the proposed Zotac open for future development space, leaving imagine VR viewers who can not only offer a screen resolution much higher than the present but also gradually break free from the traditional desktop or notebook PC coming to integrate within itself all calculation logic required to ensure the realism of the scenes.
