WhatsApp is preparing to Android N here is the new stuff last update

During the weekend the guys behind WhatsApp have released a new update to make it more in line with the characteristics of Android N, the next version of OS expected in the autumn. Among the new features we formalized some of the views in the versions released on the official website, and not on Google Play Store, such as the ability to format the text for all messages, quick responses from notifications, new methods to manage chat rooms.

As for the new formatting options, now you can write messages using three new formats: bold, writing the text inside two asterisks (eg .: * text *); Italic, with the text that is typed within two dashes underscores (eg .: _testo_); and finally crossed out, performing the same operation with two tilde (eg .: ~ ~ text). The functionality was already present on previous versions but is announced on the store only now.

The latest release also introduces new settings to archive, mute or delete multiple conversations through a single operation: simply be pushed in on a conversation for a few moments and then select the remaining interact with. At this point we can choose what to do with, among other options offered. Each conversation can also be characterized with a different color for the background (even solid).

Among the new features of the conversations we also find a new "Quick Camera" button that lets you select an image or video from the gallery, or to grab new ones, for the rapid deployment and simplified. Last but not least, the ability to respond to an incoming message directly from the notification, saving you time and write the entire response message and send it without having to go inside the application.

The update is available on Google Play Store and the news finally released for all users. It should be applied automatically if you have already installed the application, but can also be forced through download via the Android store. For installation you need Android 2.1 or later, then we can say that any Android device in circulation (except in very rare cases) can accept it without much trouble.
