Mobile and PC markets at the base of the excellent financial performance of Square Enix

Square Enix has released its financial results for the period between April and December 2015, from which it emerged that the two most prolific markets forJapanese company turned out to be that mobile and PC games.

Sales totaled $ 152 billion Yen (about 1.3 billion dollars), accounting for 28% growth compared to the same nine months of 2014. Operating income was $ 23billion Yen (about 202 million u.s. dollars) in 2015, compared to only 14 billion the previous year. In this context, the growth was around 60%.


Square Enix has released a statement in which it says that Just Cause 3 and Rise of the Tomb Raider, both launched behind the Christmas period, they had a solidstart, though not provided specific data. It also cited gains from MMOS like Final Fantasy XIV and Dragon Quest X in turn decisive in sustaining the productivity of the company.

The securities belonging to the mobile PC market and continue to record goodnumbers and product launches as Mobius Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy Brave Hoshi no Exvius have been a success.

Square Enix also States that the markets are changing radically and devices such as Smartphones or tablets are becoming ever more widespread. It is finally also spoke of differentiation, noting that the company's portfolio has very differentcontent, based on the flexibility in line with the changes taking place in the industry.
