Android, in February Marshmallow represents only 1.2% of the installed base

Google has posted in recent hours current statistics on the spread of the Android operating system, dividing the figures, as usual, according to the various OS release. The updated results at 1 February are characterized by persistent difficulty of Android Marshmallow, or the latest version of Google's operating system, to leave significant traces of his presence. Android 6.0 Marshmallow is the 1.2% of the installed base of Android smartphones. To read the data in perspective, remember that in the same month the previous release had a share of 0.7% in December to 0.5%.

A slow progression for Marshmallow determined by a number of factors: on the one hand the update of the devices based on Lollipop procedure which, as often happens, undergoes more or less dilated timing depending on the choices of the various producers, the other the market for Android devices is in a transitional period in view of the ads of the main top market brands ready to renew the offer of smartphones that will arrive on the market by the first half of the year.
