Renzi advertising to Apple: part the complaint of Codacons

Those who follow Matteo Renzi on social channels knows that once a week is organizing a live video (#matteorisponde) with whom to discuss the most diverse subjects, some lighter, more preferably linked to the government's policy choices. But between a response and the other Renzi he would be guilty of having showed off his MacBook, complete with a lighted apple in plain sight. A mistake, perhaps made to naivete, that the Codacons will not forgive.

"So far Matteo Renzi had pledged to advertise, especially abroad, the Italian companies promoting the excellence of our country", writes the Association for Consumer Protection in a statement released to the press. "Now the Premier seems to have changed course, choosing to sponsor a popular American brand of phones and computers: Apple". All this for simply used a company computer within direct.

"Renzi appeared sitting at a desk in front of a laptop, showing prominently in video the apple logo, which identifies directly the US company Apple," explains the President of Codacons, Carlo Rienzi, candidate for mayor of Rome . "We wonder if the choice of the President of the Council can represent a form of hidden advertising, even more serious when one considers the institutional origin of the mega spots to the Cupertino company."

The association decided to expose an exposed Antitrust to check whether the choice of the Premier may be attributable to the offense of surreptitious advertising: "The apple logo could be covered or hidden very easily", according to Codacons, with the lightness who apparently has not escaped many consumers have turned to the association by reporting the incident. However it is not the first time that the Codacons lends itself to fight battles a bit 'questionable.

In January 2015 the association "take the field" to condemn Totti during exultation a bit 'exuberant in which snapped a selfie with the curve of the Roma. On that occasion the Codacons demanded the disqualification of the Giallorossi captain, but perhaps would have been better, as in this case that involves Renzi, to continue to deal with the problems, the real ones, who live in our day Italian consumers.
