Apple Music at half price for students, but only in some countries

Among the many rumors that Apple would revolutionize the graphics Music during the summer, Apple has launched a new plan to increase the number of subscribers to its music streaming service. Born with a considerable delay in a market full of alternatives, Apple Music is now offered at $ 4.99 per month for US students, 5 less than the $ 9.99 Cupertino traditionally required for service.

The new option also comes in other markets: the UK, Germany, Denmark, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. Nothing Italy, then, at least for the moment. The price in these markets would vary as the cost of the service is slightly different in each country. In all markets, however, the cost will be 50% less than the full price list. The duration of the promotion, for each account, will be four-year continuous or non-continuous.

Regardless of age or class attended, students can take advantage of the discount for a certain period and then lock it between semesters, and re-register when returning to study. In order to enter the promotion will be both new and old users of the service, changing the online subscription within the app dedicated to identifying through UNiDAY technology to confirm subscription to a supported institution.

The novelty heralds the arrival of a new version of the app Apple Music which should debut at WWDC in June. This should introduce a new interface "bolder, but simple", with highly contrasting backgrounds and more covers in the foreground. The screens will also be modified to be more intuitive. Inside the event Apple should disclose to the general public even iOS 10 and the new version of Mac OS X.
