Even Bill Gates takes a position in the tug of war between Apple and the FBI, stating without too many turns of phrase that Apple should adapt to the requirements of the federal authorities involved in the investigation related to the attack in San Bernardino last February 5.
Gates noted in an interview with the Financial Times, that the FBI request is very specific: "They are not asking for something generic." Gates added that in any case it is necessary to establish a set of rules that help determine when certain information must be made accessible. "I hope that there is a debate to build safeguards," said Bill Gates.
