Doro Secure 480: the simple clock with GPS and integrated SIM

Doro is a Swedish company engaged in the telecommunications sector in the development of products that are intended for a well-defined target. We speak of older users and those who are to some extent afflicted with a form of disability, which therefore need products that are different from those typical of the consumer sector.

The Mobile World Congress in Barcelona is an opportunity for Doro to present a new watch, Secure 480 model, which incorporates an internal GPS, so as to facilitate the geographical positioning of the wearer, together with a SIM card. At a time when the side button is pressed for a few seconds the clock starts a call to a predetermined number, so that the request for aid reaches its destination.

Doro provides a cloud platform through which to monitor the clock status and identify on a map the location of the device. It 'also possible to identify the geographical areas which if passed by the clock, and then the user who carries the wrist, leading to send alarm messages.
