Activision has confirmed that the sequel to Destiny will not see the light before 2017. The news was leaked by the financial reports of the fiscal year 2015. Over the next few months Bungie has instead scheduled the release of a new expansion, which will add the Darkness in the Deep, the House of Wolves and the King of Corruption. We currently have not yet been disclosed, nor details on the price nor the content that will be made available to the community in this new package.
Through a post published this year on the official blog of the company, Bungie said to be working on a patch of large dimensions, which will update various aspects of the universe of Destiny and will be made available to the public during the spring months. The main changes will be the improvement of the Light, a series of new weapons to equip and a multitude of new challenges intended only for PvE.
In December Bungie he had confirmed that for the second season of Destiny would have changed the original business model, switching to a policy focused on the creation of seasonal events and on the support of optional micro transactions, instead of individual paid expansions.
