Surface Pro 4 eBooks, new firmware to improve the autonomy

Microsoft has already released several firmware updates turned to the latest models of the Surface line, routine updates introduced in order to carry on a constant process of refining performance. The latest firmware made available in the last hour for Surface and Surface Pro 4 Book were announced by the Panos Panay, currently responsible for the development of the entire line of Microsoft devices (Surface, but also Lumia smartphones).

The intervention rate of Panay is simple: it is in fact an update that should fix one of the main problems identified by the owners of the two products: battery consumption. Panay clarifies immediately in the post with which introduces the new update that this is just introduced a correction based on the volume of feedback received by the user on the point. Panay enters shortly into the merits of the corrective measures it merely confirmed that affect the options for saving energy.

It is reported, followed by the detailed changelog firmware dedicated to Surface Pro 4 - one addressed to holders of Surface Book introduces essentially the same changes, providing more a firmware update from the Surface Book Base that improves the battery life during on stand-by.

Max Q: Anomalous

Hello and welcome back to Max Q! Last week wasn’t the most successful for spaceflight missions. We’ll get into that a bit more below. In this issue: First up, a botched launch from Virgin Orbit… …followed by one from ABL Space Systems News from Rocket Lab, World View and more Virgin Orbit’s botched launch highlights shaky financial future After Virgin Orbit’s launch failure last Monday, during which the mission experienced an  “anomaly” that prevented the rocket from reaching orbit, I went back over the company’s financials — and things aren’t looking good. For Virgin Orbit, this year has likely been completely turned on its head. The company was aiming for three launches this year, but everything will remain grounded until the cause of the anomaly has been identified and resolved. It’s unclear how long that will take, but likely at least three months. Add this delay to Virgin’s dwindling cash reserves and you have a foundation that’s suddenly much shakier than before. ...
