The Ukrainian businessman Andrey Tkachenko published on Product Hunt a nice project undoubtedly nostalgic tones. It is a promotional tool for sites of "app ranking" Appstorio, Softwario and Androio, made using the theme Bootstra.386 for Bootstrap. The end result is the realization of a store of modern applications in garment typical graphics in the late 80s.

If the blue background embellished with low-resolution characters will not mean much to the younger generation, the other side will be much appreciated by those who have witnessed the technological evolution of the 80's in computer science, when MS-DOS is beginning to move on to in windows environments. The user interface is certainly not engaging on the graphic plan, however it is particularly functional.

Displaces a bit ', we admit, the cold contact with modern graphics that is slapped us with no frills when you try to download an application. The project is called App Store Retro is allows you to quickly and effectively find applications from various applications store. But when you click on an app, it is of course directed to the store real to start download.

Who wants to take a look to the project can do so on Product Hunt website, at this address by pressing the "Get It" button.

For Virgin Orbit, this year has likely been completely turned on its head. The company was aiming for three launches this year, but everything will remain grounded until the cause of the anomaly has been identified and resolved. It’s unclear how long that will take, but likely at least three months. Add this delay to Virgin’s dwindling cash reserves and you have a foundation that’s suddenly much shakier than before. ...
