Konami has secured the officially licensed UEFA Euro 2016 last year and the new game will be provided in advance as content completely free of charge to all holders of PES 2016. UEFA Euro 2016 will arrive on March 24, while the owners of PS3 and PS4 will also buy the stand-alone version in physical format as of April 21, which will also include the original PES 2016.
This year's competition will see 24 teams getting together to France to face the qualifying rounds before the knockout phase. The qualified teams from all over Europe will compete for the coveted cup Henry Delauney; The first match is scheduled for June 10 and the final will take place in the beautiful Stade de France a month later, on July 10. During this time they will play 50 games involving the best known players in Europe.
The official title of UEFA Euro 2016 will be inserted as a new dedicated mode on the main menu of PES 2016. This is England, Wales, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Croatia, Slovakia, Iceland, Turkey, Albania, Northern Ireland and France.
