Andy Serkis has worked for P-cap of Star Citizen: Squadron 42

Andy Serkis specializes in interpretations in Performance Capture. After playing Gollum in The Lord of the Rings, Caesar's last series of The Planet of Scimme and the Supreme Leader Snoke in Star Wars, he has become by far the most experienced actor with Performance Capture and point of reference of this technique.

Serkis is part of the artistic cast of Squadron 42, the narrative component of Star Citizen, along with other famous actors like Mark Hamill, Gary Oldman and Gillian Anderson. Specifically he plays the character of Vanduul Thul.

The footage that we report on this page shows the operation of the Performance Capture technique and how to work the actors. The images come from the Imaginarium studies in London where Serkis traveled last spring to interpret Vanduul Thul.
