G5 LG will officially an always-on display

LG Mobile has confirmed through a teaser on Twitter one of the first new notes of LG G5. The company's official post does not say much of the device and gives only a taste of what could be the silhouette of the top of the range. According to sources quoted by Andorid Authority, however, the capabilities of the implementation of LG G5 will be distinctive and different from what is used on many other competing devices.

Moto X or Nexus 6P, for example, use an AMOLED display to show only the relevant information in a very specific screen. This is a mode realized on the basis of the AMOLED technology characteristics, which can "switch off" of the fact blacks pixels and enable only the backlight of the individual pixels required. The criterion is the maximum yield with minimum energy expenditure.

LG G5 however will not have an AMOLED display, according to sources, and notifications will be present on the screen at any time, not just when you raise your smartphone from your desktop or in the precise gesture concurrently. The implementation of the always-on display on the next top of the range will instead be very similar to that of the second smaller screen on LG V10, with the difference that will occupy a larger portion of the panel.

We do not know how many and what information may contain functionality, although the LG teaser shows us a big digital clock with date and some notifications of the most important native apps, such as telephone, e-mail client and the messaging. Instead, what appears to be a total unknown is the impact that such a function can have on the life of the smartphone's battery, as the display will require support in this way continuously.
The first answers we receive them the next February 21, 2016, the date on which the company will show for the first time to the public the new LG G5 with the new Always On mode. Interestingly, rival Samsung has patented the name for its Galaxy S7 , with the two Koreans who will compete on features very similar but probably implemented differently.
