Philips launched its first 5K monitor that supports a native resolution of 5120x2880 @ 60Hz. With four times the number of pixels of the Quad HD standards and more than 50% compared to the Ultra HD resolution, the new Philips 275P4VYKEB panel is designed to meet the needs of graphics professionals and users. The monitor supports PerfectKolor technology that delivers a gamut Adobe RGB 99% and 100% with regard to the sRGB standard. The 5K resolution provides the user with 1000 and 700 more pixels in the horizontal and vertical sides, respectively, delivering an extra space to use for example more and more windows in the foreground. The 27-inch panel boasts a 10-bit color support with 12-bit internal processing and uses PLS technology that allows viewing angles of 178 degrees both vertically and horizontally.
