No more battery problems with Anker Powerhouse: from 120,600 mAh battery pack

The most common battery packs have a few thousand mAh to respond to the growing needs of our energy devices. With 2000, 5000 or 20000 mAh allowing to recharge more than once our smartphones, our tablet or our laptops away the danger of running out of technology in the worst situations. The new Powerhouse Anker, available in the US from next month, approaches the issue in a totally different way.

With a battery pack as well 120.600 mAh, Anker Powerhouse can feed 40 times a traditional smartphone, 15 times a laptop. It is not to think about how a simple battery pack, but as a portable generator can power an entire camp, and that is why it has been designed. In relation to the fuel to electricity generators, however, the Powerhouse Anker is significantly more convenient to carry, and can be charged safely through a simple power outlet.

It has four USB 2.4 ports A and a standard three prong outlet (in the US) with which you can connect any domestic instrument which operates by electric current. On the other side there is also an accessory socket for 12V cars. It is much bigger than a conventional battery pack for smartphones, but not too much: Anker Powerhouse measures about 20 x 15 x 15 cm and weighs about 4.5 kilograms. In short, it can not be put in your pocket but is ideal for taking on the road.

What is certain is that the convenience of Anker Powerhouse than a traditional generator fades a bit 'in view of the price, which is significantly higher. The device with 120,600 mAh battery, 434Wh, or if you prefer, it costs $ 499 and will be available starting from May 22 on Amazon American Store. We do not know if the Powerhouse Anker will arrive on the Italian market, but currently there is no clue as to say otherwise.

Apple’s AI Push: Everything We Know About Apple Intelligence So Far

Apple’s WWDC 2025 confirmed what many suspected: Apple is finally making a serious leap into artificial intelligence. Dubbed “Apple Intelligence,” the suite of AI-powered tools, enhancements, and integrations marks the company’s biggest software evolution in a decade. But unlike competitors racing to plug AI into everything, Apple is taking a slower, more deliberate approach — one rooted in privacy, on-device processing, and ecosystem synergy. If you’re wondering what Apple Intelligence actually is, how it works, and what it means for your iPhone, iPad, or Mac, you’re in the right place. This article breaks it all down.   What Is Apple Intelligence? Let’s get the terminology clear first. Apple Intelligence isn’t a product — it’s a platform. It’s not just a chatbot. It’s a system-wide integration of generative AI, machine learning, and personal context awareness, embedded across Apple’s OS platforms. Think of it as a foundational AI layer stitched into iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and m...

The Silent Revolution of On-Device AI: Why the Cloud Is No Longer King

Introduction For years, artificial intelligence has meant one thing: the cloud. Whether you’re asking ChatGPT a question, editing a photo with AI tools, or getting recommendations on Netflix — those decisions happen on distant servers, not your device. But that’s changing. Thanks to major advances in silicon, model compression, and memory architecture, AI is quietly migrating from giant data centres to the palm of your hand. Your phone, your laptop, your smartwatch — all are becoming AI engines in their own right. It’s a shift that redefines not just how AI works, but who controls it, how private it is, and what it can do for you. This article explores the rise of on-device AI — how it works, why it matters, and why the cloud’s days as the centre of the AI universe might be numbered. What Is On-Device AI? On-device AI refers to machine learning models that run locally on your smartphone, tablet, laptop, or edge device — without needing constant access to the cloud. In practi...
