Designed for professionals in graphics and video editing, Asus ProArt PA329Q is a new monitor model just launched in Italy. It is characterized by a wide color gamut and an "extraordinary fidelity in color reproduction": adopt a 4K Ultra HD panel with a resolution of 3840x2160 pixels coated inside a 32-inch diagonal. The maximum supported refresh rate is 60Hz, ideal for playing multimedia content.
The monitor uses various technologies to maintain an impeccable fidelity in color reproduction: the company cites the Asus ProArt Calibration technologies with support functions Tuning Color Accuracy and Uniformity Compensation, which allow you to easily re-calibrate the panel with data mapping options, correlation and calibration. The data is saved in the internal scaler IC chip, and not in the PC, and can therefore be used on different PCs.
The stand offers ample opportunity to tilt, swivel and height adjustment while through the auto-rotate function can automatically adjust the orientation of the content when the display is used vertically or horizontally. The new Asus monitor reproduces 10-bit color (1.07 billion colors) and uses a LUT (LookUp Table) to 14-bit internal.
The panel, LCD IPS, adopts the 3M QDEF (Quantum Dot Enhancement Film) technology that, according to the specification data, should ensure optimal color range even for professional use: in the technical specifications issued by the recommended companies, we read a gamut 99, 5% on the Adobe RGB standard and 100% of Rec. 709, sRGB, Rec. 2020 Asus ProArt PA329Q finally covers 90% of the gamut relating to DCI-P3 standard. It is sold already calibrated at the factory.
Despite the large diagonal, the Asus monitor offers a pixel density equal to 138PPI, with a space to the user 300% greater than a similar panel in Full HD resolution. To connect the panel to the sources available DisplayPort 1.2 ports, a mini Display Port 1.2, and four HDMI v2.0 ports, while we have also five USB 3.0 ports and a card reader 9-in-1 memory card slot, and various peripherals devices.
The panel also supports PiP functionality and PbP and Ultra-Low-Light Blue and Flicker-Free technology that avoid eyestrain and protect the user from the blue light emission. Not for all the money, as you would expect from an extremely refined solution aimed at a professional audience: the Italian market Asus ProArt PA329Q is in fact available for a suggested retail price of € 1,459.00 including taxes.
