ASUS Transformer 3 and Transformer 3 Pro: the 2-in-1 flexible

Debut on the Italian market the two tablets 2-in-1 ASUS Transformer belonging to the family, Intel-based Kaby Lake next generation. We speak of Transformer 3 and Transformer 3 Pro, products for design and technical features represent a direct substitute to the solutions of Microsoft Surface and Surface Pro.

Transformer 3 is a tablet with aluminum unibody structure, characterized by a 12.6-inch diagonal display with a resolution of 2.880x1.920 pixels and a weight of 695 grams. The combination with a cover with keyboard extends the flexibility of use, turning it into a notebook PC with which to write and interact even without the advantage of tilting touch screen interface the screen into two predefined positions depending on the position chosen for the cover. The presence of the ASUS Pen also allows you to use the Transformer 3 also to take notes through traditional text.

The heart of this product is the Intel Core i7-7Y75 processor-based architecture Kaby Lake and paired with a budget of 8 Gbytes of system memory. Local storage with the presence of SSD with capacity of up to 512 Gbytes, while the rear camera 13 megapixel and the front 5 megapixel complete multimedia functionality. The integration into the chassis of 4 speakers provides high-quality audio playback, also through surround-sound configurations.
Transformer 3 Pro is a 2-in-1 that differs from Transformer 3 model for both the hardware features for both the aesthetic solutions. The Intel Core i7-6500U processor it offers a power greater overall processing, combined with 16 Gbytes of system memory and an SSD of 512 Gbytes of capacity. Nothing changes as regards the display, which keeps the 12.6-inch diagonal with resolution of 2.880x1.920 pixels and the ratio of 3: 2 between the two sides.

In the back of the display stands out a kickstand, thanks to which you can place the screen on a flat surface at will. The cover with keyboard connects directly to the base of the screen, assuming a slight inclination that facilitates typing and makes Transformer 3 Pro tablet able to perform at their best all the typical functions of a thin notebook. Rounding out the coveer with keyboard, bundled, we also find ASUS Pen with which to use Transformer 3 Pro as a tool for taking notes as if we were faced with a pad of paper.

Both ASUS Transformer 3 that ASUS Transformer 3 Pro will be available from November to the respective price (and indicative) of 1499.00 and 1699.00 euros.
