The campaign of Battlefield 1 takes place between the Argonne, Italy and Saudi

Battlefield 1 allow you to live an original story set in World War II. A return to the past that seems to have been appreciated by the players on social, at least in comparison to what appears to be an increasingly stale Call of Duty, that with Infinite Warfare hardly offer much more than a "more of the same".

Speaking of the new campaign of Battlefield 1, unlike the previous ones, it will be told by the changing perspectives. Rather than as a single story will be structured around "Battlefield moments", with the player who will impersonate several soldiers and continually move between a war front and the other.

The story will focus on the atrocities of a war that in the age in which he lived was totally unprecedented, even for the new murderous military technology deployed for the first time on the battlefield. There will be ambientati game scenarios in the French region dell'Argonne, but also on the Italian Alps and the deserts of Arabia. I'm not the only game environments of the single player campaign, as other will be revealed later.

Players will get a feeling for the guns of World War I, as a swivel-sliding bolt rifles, flamethrowers and chemical weapons based on mustard gas. The melee combat will be redesigned for this new chapter of Battlefield, with new weapons at the base of this component: it's sabers, maces for fighting in the trenches and spades.

In the best tradition Battlefield, players will be able to drive various types of light-, medium- and heavy; as well as aircraft biplanes and warships. But you can also ride horses equipped for war and there will be destructible environments in both single-player and in multiplayer match.

According to the promises of DICE, the campaign will offer the greatest game and open environments compared to previous single player Battlefield. Players will also be able to make choices to finish their own fighting style. With regard to the multiplayer, however, players can create pre-established groups and access match directly within a group. Those who play outside of a group, too, will be substantially disadvantaged.
