Philips Hue January 2: more smart home lighting

Philips Lightning has launched the new application for the mobile Philips Hue January 2, available for iOS and Android. Here are the new features of the application, as explained by Philips:

Rooms: The new app Philips Hue January 2 presents the "Rooms" option that allows you to control all the lights in a room, or in a specific area, at the same time. Set is simple and takes a few seconds: all you have to do is click on "Settings", "Configure rooms", and select the lights you want to control, and then give a name to the room. Philips Hue can also be activated by voice command, features that allows for example to ask you to set the light in the living room at 10% in order to create a warm and relaxing.

Daily activities: The "Daily activities" allow you to program the lights depending on the activities of the day, from morning until evening. The app Philips Hue Jan 2, presents four major white light recipes: concentration, reading, relaxing and energizing, to be always accompanied by the right lighting and live every moment to the fullest. The "Awakening" feature allows you to set the Philips Hue lights for a natural alarm clock thanks to the gradual increase of light intensity, like the sunrise. In addition, it limits exposure to blue light, reducing the noise during sleep and making it easier to fall asleep again. Scene: You can now create custom lighting scenarios in a more simple and intuitive. It also lets you create unique scenarios by choosing from over 16 million colors and all the different shades of white light: the possibilities are endless. The novelty of the new application does not end there: Philips Hue January 2 offers the Widgets feature with which the user is always available up to 10 different functions in a drop down menu of the Home screen, which combine "Rooms" and "different Scene". The feature provides quick access to favorite light settings of the users.
