It founded the Coalition of Fixed Wireless Access for the spread of ultra-wideband

Over 60 Italian operators in the industry of wireless connectivity already fixed members and determined to become a unique and authoritative partner in the Italian debate on ultra broadband form the Coalition of Fixed Wireless Access. Companies that have joined the CFW, including prominent industry players such as Aeolus, are committed to bringing ultra fast connections also to those who work and reside in the most inaccessible areas and difficult to reach for infrastructure (clusters C and D of the government strategy for the spread of ultra-wideband).

"The companies belonging to the Coalition have not only developed digital infrastructure where traditional operators have not invested (thanks to our work today, one million users connected to the network)," said Luca Spada, President of CFW and Eolo AD. "But together they account for 3 billion of total revenues, an important value to the economy of our country. These are data to be reckoned with and that we intend to speak out with the establishment of the CFW".

CFW is the entire chain of fixed wireless connectivity: from TowerCo up operators to TLC (WISPs and satellite), through our technology partners and companies that contribute to the creation of networks. A chain composed of companies are able to realize very important numbers for the economy of our country 3 billion total revenue, more than 8,500 direct employees, nearly 1 million served businesses and households in all Italian regions.

The Coalition of the Fixed Wireless Access is not intended to be a place of institutional representation, but also the engine and push for innovative business projects ranging from the Internet of Things, to the creation of neutral hub for access to the network, to the study of new models business able to leverage existing infrastructure investments made by each.
